corporations, record-keeping is the sole domain of the heath information technologist.
As a health information technologist, you would be required to assign and classify
all aspects of health care into a complex filing and coding system that will be used
by all parties involved in healthcare, from the doctor to the document filer.
Because of this complexity, more and more vocational schools and junior colleges
offer health technology programs. These programs teach the basics of medicine and
anatomy so that workers have an idea of what they working with. Those hiring in the
