Physical Therapy Degree Programs
To work in physical therapy, you'll
need the knowledge and expertise to diagnose and treat movement-related problems.
To do this, you'll need the appropriate education, training, and certification that
allow you to practice. Your physical therapy course will teach you how to employ
various diagnostic techniques and methods of treatment. The role of the physical
therapist is to prevent or alleviate movement dysfunction and promote physical function
and independence. Your program will teach you how to do this in various contexts
such as sports therapy or rehabilitation. You'll develop your analytical ability
and the essential interpersonal skills that you'll need when working closely with
people who are often in a great deal of discomfort.
